    • How long is a class?

      Every class is 47 minutes long, from start to finish. The class is broken down into three segments. Each class begins with a 10 minute warm-up, followed by eight alternating rounds of bag work and functional training, with a specific focus on strength, conditioning, and cardio exercises. The class then ends with a 5 minute cool down.

    • What should I bring/wear to my first class?

      Come to class in comfortable workout clothes. We’ll have your gloves and hand-wraps waiting for you once you arrive. Bring a bottle of water (or we’ll have water to purchase), a towel, and a drivers license or picture ID.

    • Do I need to have previous boxing or kickboxing experience to take a class?

      No, our classes are designed for all levels. Our interactive display demonstrates how to execute the techniques perfectly and will guide you on how and when to throw every punch, kick, and knee for each combination. As a beginner, you’ll be able to go at your own pace and gradually push yourself harder as you get in better shape.

    • Are there age restrictions?

      The minimum age to train at Brooklyn Fitboxing is 14 years old. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent to their first class.

    • What are the membership rates?

      Each location has its own pricing structure and specials going on. Membership rates depend on the duration and amount of classes per week. Class packages are also available without purchasing a membership.

    • How many people are typically in a class?

      All our Brooklyn Fitboxing facilities are designed for small group training sessions of 10-18 people. This intimate training environment allows us to give you a more personal experience with our instructor's providing individual attention to each and every member in the class.

    • Do I need to ‘get in shape’ before I take a class?

      This question gets asked a lot about all different types of workouts. The best way to get in shape for something is by doing it. The way our classes are structured, it allows everyone to go at their own pace. That way, no one is slowing down your workout and you won’t feel like you’re slowing down anyone else's either. Everyone in the group is able to give their 100%!

    • How can I get started?

      Check out our special introductory offer on the right.

    • I already bought my trial class, now what?

      Once you purchased your trial class, you were sent an email with your login and password to the Brooklyn Fitzone. If you haven’t seen the email check your SPAM folder. You’ll use the Brooklyn Fitzone to schedule your first class and every class after that.

    • Am I going to get hit?

      Our classes are ZERO contact. You won’t have to worry about getting hit or going to work with a black eye. Our classes are done on a heavy bag and everyone gets their own bag. You’re not going to box or spar with other people.

    • How is Brooklyn Fitboxing different from other boxing/kickboxing classes?

      It's honestly unlike any kickboxing or boxing class you’ve ever done. Our interactive display and training system will give you instant feedback on how you’re performing. Each workout is choreographed with a custom mix tape so you're dropping bombs in synch with the bass drop. You will be punching and kicking to the beat of the music. Never before has there been a workout like this, that combines boxing, music, and gaming, in a state of the art facility. It's hard to put the Brooklyn Fitboxing experience into words for someone that hasn’t done a class. Click the ‘Try a Class’ button so you can experience the difference yourself.

    • How many calories are burned per class?

      It depends on the weight of the individual and the amount of exertion. Our training is an interactive full body workout that turns you into a fat burning furnace. Your metabolism will be boosted the next 48 hours with the after burn effect of the high-intensity intervals. Hitting a score in the 90's will have you burning over 1,000 calories in our 47-minute session.

    • Do you have locker rooms?

      Yes, we have locker rooms for both men and women.

    • I don’t have gloves, can I borrow a pair from you?

      We give you a pair of gloves and wraps as part of your Intro Special Trial Class. After that, you’ll have to bring them with you for every class. If you lose them, we have gloves for sale at the center.
